Jason Mills
Jason Mills is an Associate Professor of Palliative and End of Life Care at the Flinders University Caring Futures Institute, Open Door Initiative, and Research Centre for Palliative Care, Death and Dying. A Fellow of the Australian College of Nursing (ACN) and the Royal Society for Public Health, he is the current Chair of the ACN End of Life Care Faculty and is Editor-in-Chief, Progress in Palliative Care. Jason’s interest in cancer survivorship and palliative care stem from his own experiences with family who have lived with and died from cancer. While his expertise spans the fields of health promotion, mental health, and public health palliative care, Jason is particularly passionate about upstream community engagement, trauma informed care, and supporting healthy dying for different populations such as the veteran community.
