Hannah Pring
Hannah Pring’s professional and research focus is directed towards improving the psychosocial wellbeing and survivorship outcomes of young people and their families in healthcare settings, particularly during transitions to cancer survivorship and adult services. Hannah is a recent graduate of the Melbourne University Master of Youth Mental Health, where she undertook a qualitative research study with the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute (MCRI) to explore young people’s preferences for end of cancer treatment care. Hannah utilised implementation science frameworks to translate these research findings to a new paediatric end-of-treatment model of care. In her professional roles as Service Improvement Project Lead at the Paediatric Integrated Cancer Service (PICS) and Honorary Research Assistant at MCRI, Hannah works on various quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing survivorship care for Victorian children and adolescents affected by childhood cancer.
