Emma Sansalone
Emma is a dedicated clinician-researcher working both in research and as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist, with a strong focus on cancer treatment and recovery. With a passion for improving patient outcomes, Emma delivers high-quality healthcare services across Australia and New Zealand, using video conferencing and digital health technologies to ensure accessibility and support for individuals in need. As an expert in Exercise Oncology, Emma provides specialised services to patients in cancer support and fatigue management programs. Her work is focused on helping individuals navigate the physical challenges of cancer treatment, rehabilitation, and recovery.
In addition to clinical practice, Emma is a PhD candidate at the University of Newcastle, within the School of Medicine and Public Health. Her research aims to develop and evaluate a digital health intervention designed to support breast cancer patients in preparing for and recovering from surgery. This work seeks to improve the care and well-being of patients through innovative digital solutions.
